Maggie Roney

Maggie Roney’s path to becoming a counselor and holistic health practitioner began in 2010 where she obtained Master of Science degree in Counseling and Development from Texas A&M University-Commerce. She then worked for The Family Place, an organization that helps families who have experienced abuse, both as an intern and later in the domestic violence and incest recovery departments.

In 2013, Maggie started her own private practice to specialize in trauma recovery through personal counseling services for those twelve and older. With having law enforcement officers in her family, Maggie has a heart for and experience in helping First Responders with their trauma recovery as well.

As a counselor and holistic health practitioner, Maggie seeks to empower her clients to know what is right for their body and walk alongside them. With proven methods to build a productive instinct, clients begin to discern for themselves what is best for their help.

Coming from a family with strong ties to law enforcement, military, and veterans, Maggie possesses a deep understanding and heartfelt dedication to aiding First Responders, military personnel, and veterans in their journey of trauma recovery.

Maggie is honored to serve as the Chief Operating Officer of Valored Cohesion Solutions.

Dave Carrasquillo

My career has been devoted to serving my country, state, and community, beginning as a U.S. Marine with overseas deployments and an Honorable Discharge. My path led me from potential medical studies to graduating with honors from the California State Correctional Peace Officer Academy. My true passion emerged in law enforcement, culminating as a Police Detective in Inglewood, where I faced the daunting challenges of crime and witnessed profound tragedies. Despite the personal toll, including two heart attacks and multiple surgeries, my service earned me numerous awards for valor, including the highest recognitions for bravery from state and federal bodies.

Post-retirement, I transitioned from public service to specialized support, dedicating over a decade to neurofeedback with IASIS Technologies, focusing on the less than 1% of the population—our military and first responders suffering from substance abuse, mental health issues, and trauma. As President of Valored, I commit to aiding those who have served, honoring the sacrifices made in the line of duty.

This dedication is in memory of Officer Melvin Green, a fallen brother whose service ended too soon.
